If you’re a fan of Katsu then you might be interested in Holy Katsu, a new katsu place that just opened up. I’m not a katsu fan but my brother is and he thinks their katsu is pretty great. Their prices also seem really reasonable, KD2.950 for a classic chicken katsu curry and KD2.250 for a vegetarian one.
Not sure if their location is open yet but they’ve already started delivery with Deliveroo. They’re also on instagram at @holykatsu

I personally always order Meme curry because it’s awesome, and they recently released smaller portions for good prices as well. However, it is good to have new options! Gonna try it this weekend

Shocking. I was so furious to see their instagram account. Out of all those amazing images of Japan, why would they use the Rising Sun Flag???? For those who aren’t familiar with it, it is same to the swas.tika that was used to symbolise Nazi.sm. I’ve personally sent them message to let them know, I hope this is a mistake.
The rising sun flag is still used by the Japanese navy and ground forces. So if the Japanese government still uses the flag, I don’t think it’s a problem.
Because they are denial of what they have done in the past and refusing to take responsibilities. The flag doesn’t just mean their forces, it symbolises is against the humanity that should never been used by anyone. I have Japanese in my blood and I love their culture and all but this flag just isn’t right.

Union Jack was forced on many countries flags when they were enslaved for at times centuries. Countries were cut up and people are still millions of people were/are/will butcher each other due to the British. You can sit there and dwell on the past or realise that none gives a damn anymore, I live with Chinese student and they don’t give a damn about the Japanese massacres. They purchase goods from Sony and beauty tech from Panasonic. Chinese send their children to the U.K after what the Uk did to them. Indian people purchase british goods, arabs speak English and African Americans live in fiercely republican states. Life just carries on.
