Last night I was dropping some stuff to the dry cleaners in Al Khalid Complex in Salmiya when I noticed Lorenzo had opened there (near Fresh). The place was empty so I went in and asked them if I could take some photos and they were ok with that. They opened last month and the place looks pretty good for the size and location. The restaurant isn’t very big but there is semi private seating in the back which I Liked. (Pictured above)
If you don’t know where Al Khalid Complex is here is a link to it on Google Maps. It’s where My Toy used to be located back in the 80s. [Link]

Marl-Please don’t google map link our “creep spot”. Fresh is where we take our girlfriends. The mainstream restaurants are for the wifey.
Umm. The GF gets to choose now. Nice…
I was going to say the same thing (but in a much nicer way) that Kurt said. Kurt, is your wife reading??? OMG.
I love that little shopping center. I have started to hate all the (as Kurt says) “mainstream” restaurants (let’s just call them “popular”) because of the traffic and how everybody around you is more interested in YOUR conversation than theirs.
Thanks for posting this, Mark.
I live in the brown building across the street from this place, it’s always empty, I’m hoping that after this post it’ll start getting more traffic. It’s a really good location, quiet area, looks good on the inside, and service is great. I have breakfast/lunch there all the time now.
