I posted about the ReQueue app last year, it’s an app that allows you to add yourself to a restaurants waiting list before getting to the restaurant. When I posted about ReQueue the only restaurant on it that interested me was Table Otto, but I’ve stopped going there so I stopped using the app.
But, recently a friend made me aware you could reserve a table at one of my favorite breakfast places, Lunch Room. Lunch Room is small and always busy on weekends, and unlike Cocoa Room, I can’t call in ahead to add myself to their waiting list. Now with ReQueue, that issue is sorted.
There are more restaurants on ReQueue now so might be worth checking it out again. It’s available for both [iOS] and [Android] devices.

Isn’t it funny how it’s called The Lunch Room but people usually go there for breakfast?
I just visited it a couple weeks ago and loved it so I’m not complaining.
It’s just funny. Good morning everyone lol.
What’s funnier is when they first opened they were closed for lunch, it started off as a breakfast place
That made me go “bahahahaha!”
And now they’re open for dinner too
I wonder if an app like Open Table would work here in Kuwait.
I use it a lot in London, not only to make reservations but also to find out who has tables available at any given moment using my location.
I don’t think Kuwait at the moment has the culture of reservation, especially if it’s just for eating and not an occasion. Most people just go and expect to find a table, and if the waiting is long they don’t mind waiting or just go to another restaurant.
Are you sure you can’t call to be added to the waitlist? I called them on the first of January to reserve a table for breakfast and they told me that they can’t reserve, but they can add me to the waitlist. They asked me what time I’d get there and I told them that I’d be there in 11 minutes or so. They added me to the waitlist and when I got there I told them I was on the waitlist and was immediately seated; didn’t have to wait at all, despite it being super crowded.
Oh they might be doing that now, previously they’ve told me I needed to be there in person to be added to the waiting list. Thanks!
