Seedless Watermelons in Kuwait

seedless

I was at the Saveco Supermarket yesterday and spotted seedless watermelons. I have no idea why no other supermarket has thought about getting seedless watermelons to Kuwait, it’s the most amazing thing ever.

The melons are mini sized and they weren’t cheap at around KD1.5 per kilo so my melon ended up costing around KD3.5 which is still a lot cheaper than the KD99 heart shaped melon at Sultan Center. I’m really loving Saveco.

If taste good that’s mean it’s worth it :p .. I would pay that amount if it’s really taste good and more than that saveco have some convinent prices such the balsamic vinegar you wrote about like 4 or 5 years ago instead of going to dean and deluca and pay a furtuane for it lol .. And now it’s competing with sultan center and other stores

What’s wrong with thr seeds? That watermelon looks like it got dropped from 10th floor and the color drained from being scared.

Go buy the regular melon from the roadside for 1kd.

I actually found these seedless melons over the weekend in Lulu Hypermarket Qurain. They were about the same price and if I’m not mistaken they were either imported from Thailand or Malaysia

Clearly, You don’t like things made easy for you. Why waste so much time taking out the seeds when you can have them seedless and not waste ANY time?

I rather shoot them out my mouth, just make sure you apply enough pressure with a little tongue push

Hello Mark!

We hope you and your family are well. Thanks for the feedback on the melons, their imported hence the price but we will certainly try to find cheaper alternatives. We thought the watermelons would be great for toddler as well since they tend to choke on seeds. Again we truly appreciate your feedback and the time you took to post it!

Warm Regards,

The Saveco Family

Yeah but you would have to blend or cook the seeds. No one eats the seeds of the watermelon while eating the watermelon, they’re spat out so you don’t gain any nutritional advantage by having a watermelon with seeds.

“it’s the most amazing thing ever.”

Said the guy that test drives Ferraris and Aston Martins on weekends. :p
