SaveCo Supermarket is now carrying the original Huy Fong Sriracha chili sauce. Not sure how much quantity they brought in but they’re selling fast since most people are hoarding by buying 5 or 6 bottles. I personally picked up two at KD1.800 each which is the same price Amazon is selling them. So if you want some, you need to pass by asap.

Never understood all the hype about Sriracha. For me Tabasco is a billion times nicer.
On behalf of everyone who’s been scouring the many condiments aisles of Sultan Center for years waiting for them to get this, I just wanna say, “Finally!”
QUOTE MARK (since most people are hoarding by buying 5 or 6 bottles.)
hahahahahahahaha 😛 e7em
Can anyone recommend any sauce which doesn’t have sweet taste? I try more than 50 different sauces from different brands in Kuwait and even if there is no sugar in their ingredients they are sweet :/ I hate sweet taste in food.
If you know any non sweet sauce please tell me brand name and where can I get it 🙂
BOOM! I love me some sriarcha
So Sriracha is the new Bu Deech?

its funny some people think this product is healthy the ingredients blend full of Genetically Modified (GMO)
1. All of the food you eat whether you like it or not has been genetically modified unless you go full organic on everything you eat.
2. There is no association with genetically modified and unhealthy. In fact, genetically modified is healthier and safer for human beings because they’re genetically modified to resist diseases and combat bacteria and other harmful things that are bad for humans, letting you keep your food for longer and allowing to still be edible.
3. If you have a problem with genetically modified, then you shouldn’t eat at all. Humans have been modifying foods through artificial selection since the dawn of agriculture. Now we’re doing the same selection but via science and all of a sudden there’s a moral issue. Watch the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ecT2CaL7NA
Lol, Only in Kuwait would someone say “Finally!!! Sriracha!!” and pickup 5-6 bottles.
What happened to good old rooster chili sauce?
I don’t like that on all my food, I like sriracha on most food (burgers, fries, etc.)
I had bought one of these at the Korean store in Dajeej. It was the original one. However, I don’t understand why people seem to love these artificial sauces so much. It’s pretty much a lot of xanthan gum and possibly even color. I just find it gross!
What you could do is make your own sriracha sauce. When I was in Bangkok I never saw street food vendors using readymade sauces. Everything was home made and the taste was a 1000 times better and fresh. All you need is habanero, thai chillies, garlic, vinegar, salt and sugar.
The Korean store in dajeej sells a different brand of sriracha, they sell the foodex brand which comes with a red cap instead of green one.
never tried it till now, i like heinz chili sauce 😀
speaking of hot sauces, can anyone tell me where I can find authentic Harissa sauce/paste?
I got my hands (during the vacation) on some trinidad scorpion sauce – officially the second hottest in the world. Had the naga chili a while ago which was pretty hot but this kicks ass almost literally. still on the lookout for californai reaper – the spiciest in the world.
You can get these at lulu (sometimes) or the Asian supermarkets in the city. Lulu>>>>>>>sultan center.
I was only able to find the Foodex brand previously, this was the first time I spotted the Huy Fong Sriracha
They’re now available in Yarmouk Co-op grocery store! They sell them for about the same price. They seem to have ordered a lot! Get ’em while you can!
