this a top quality QSR, exterior and interior design sis not a typical fast food place, plus u’d be surprised from the variety they have in the menu. check it out and taste their frosty’s 😉

Hey Hala, Thanks for the info. Whatever you said above sounds like either you are trying to promote them or you are an employee. 🙂

haha to be honest am prompting them but am not an employee but i like the brand and i know people there. not trying to hide anything 🙂

Finally, the famous redhead is coming back to Kuwait, triple burgers all the way.

Now, all I want is to bring back arbys, I’m craving their roast beef for years.

Do they have home delivery? Not really going to bother drive all the way to Salmiya just to “try” their hamburger…..

Its very fuzzy with me too. But none of these places started coming to Kuwait till the mid 90’s. Fudds, A&W, Wendy’s all came here in the mid to late 90s. Nothin was here in the 80’s except Sultan Center.

Actually, A&W, Dairy Queen, Wimpys and Arby’s were in Kuwait in the mid 80s as well as KFC and Hardees. I actually attended the A&W opening since I lived right on top of them, I’d say that was around 1985?

On the other hand I think Wendy’s opened early 90s not 80s since I remember going there with my cousin and he only moved to Kuwait after the invasion.

I have heard of my folks talking about their trip to Wimpy’s and thats before we (their kids) were around..so thats like somewhere in the 70’s.

I tried it today…it’s definitely a step up from mcd’s or Burger King..good bun. I reccomend Dave’s burger the one in the photo above..’twas gd 🙂

The burgers are square because Wendy’s doesn’t cut corners.😂 If you go, be sure to dip your fries in your frosty, yum!

Any idea who owned the franchise in Kuwait back in the 90s and the reasons they closed? It did quite well from what I can rememeber

Al Mawared had it but they closed because they were mismanaged and no support from the Master Franchisee. Same Co. that had Orbit, who went bankrupt and merged with Showtime.

@Bob: Interesting to know that Al Mawared was the Master Franchisee, same folks who merged Orbit with KIPCO as both companies are quasi holding companies for their main owners. Thank you for the unique Insight.

I was pleasantly surprised if I’m ever feeling like I want a fast food burger I’d probably hit the place up, their patty was surprisingly way above what I was expecting.. Fries were good tied with Micky ds nuggets were very average. Burger King just doesn’t cut I nor does Hardee’s, and now McDonald’s partties just won’t do.

Tried to eat there Friday night about 10pm, was turned away by manager. He said “we are too busy, not taking any customers” yet they continued to serve through the drive thru. What business ever says that? Especially a fast food business! Best part about the night though, watching the stupid people trying to sneak in through the back parking lot entrance and having their tires punctured by the park lot one way spikes…. Saw 4 different cars changing tires. Haha selfish people who think they can always cut the que, serves you right!
