Big Brother is Watching Me

My agency just installed iInventory on my mac. According to the software’s website this is what it allows Big Brother to do:

* Compare installed software against licenses
* Spot hardware and software changes
* Check unauthorized software or files like .MP3

Now I just need to find out what port its using so I could block it. I am sure if I google it I can find it..

The request to our server is done on standard port 80, and your firewall should not restrict the HTTP POST command to iInventory.com.

It may also be necessary to ensure that the correct IP address is added to your firewall’s bypass list. The address of the server concerned is 217.33.105.136

It may also be necessary to configure an HTTP filter within your firewall that allows any HTTP headers to be received. Some firewalls block these by default.

thats for the main software on the server
but what about on my mac? do i send information directly to iInventory or do i send it to our server?
