Five Guys Opening in Al Tijaria

fiveguys

I heard through the grapevine that Five Guys are opening their first location in Kuwait at Al Tijaria Tower in the city. I passed by yesterday to see if I could find a coming soon hoarding and didn’t find one, but I did find a large location in the basement that was under construction. Five Guys already opened in Dubai back in May and so it makes sense that we are next in line.

Sultan Chef is considered a “steakhouse”. I don’t think I will take a drive and try to find a parking lot and have a walk just to have an upgraded fastfood burger at the basement of a shopping center in middle of Kuwait City

You’re definitely right Mark, Sultan Chef is awesome. However, what I meant was that it’s terrible because there is no parking lot there :/

yes it does and i parked there yesterday but had to endure the long “unshaded” walk to Tijaria. Not an issue at night but under the scorching sun it’s not very doable.

That’s cool! I didn’t know the park had a parking lot. That does make things better.

I personally don’t mind the short walk Mark, so it’s ok I guess.

The foot traffic from the UK visa application centre would be a good reason for them choosing it, also the fact that Al-Shaya arent the people who brought them here

I live in Montreal and Five guys is my favorite burger joint ! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had
Hopefully the one in Kuwait is just as good, cant wait to go back and check it out!

I am pretty sure that the large area in the basement is a gym that is in construction. I heard this by one of the people that is going is going to be a trainer there (his name is @als3eid on instagram) and the place will be called fitness lab.

Well they should have opened it down here in Americanville, Mahaboula. They would have made a quick return on their investment. Mark have you seen the new Alshaya restaurant complex they are opening here in Mahaboula in October? Cheesecake Factory, Texas Roadhouse, PF Changs, IHOP(which is uncalled for to have 2 in the same area), Shake Shack, Pink Berry, and Starbucks(which there is one located right across the street from this new location).

Not sure about this , but what I heard is that athey have a shuttle (bus) service between the Al Shaheed park parking lot and tijaria tower…
