No idea who Raising Cane’s are honestly but I just read that Alshaya decided to bring them to the Middle East. I’m guessing Alshaya probably wanted to bring a chicken franchise to the region and Chick-fil-A would have been too controversial so they ended up with Raising Cane’s. According to the article, Raising Cane’s will open their first location in Avenues this July (probably at the recently closed Olive Garden or Red Lobster locations. [Link]

I’d raise some Hell if they brought that Bible thumper’s chicken to Kuwait.
“Screw people who have different beliefs than mine”
Exactly, Chick Fil-A has the right to believe in whatever they want to believe in but paying tens of thousands of dollars to dictate American legislation is definitely not freedom of religion, it’s the exact opposite. It’s them saying “Screw you for living the life you want to, believe in what I believe in”.
P.S. I dated a Christian evangelical for a long time and the sex was heavenly.
What a vile disgusting show-off! Your sex life is irrelevant to this post and quite frankly nobody here gives 2 shits about it! keep it to yourself!
Bahahahaha
Someone’s not getting any!
*face palm* I still love their food no matter what the religion of the cook is. However, I didn’t like the gospel music playing in the restaurant, I know they are a religious backed restaurant but no need to force feed people it.
Again, it’s not the religion. America was founded on the principle of freedom of religion.
It’s the fact that they are paying tens of thousands of dollars to dictate how others i.e. people who don’t believe in what they believe in, live their lives which in my book is wrong.
Live and let live.
I’ve never been in any Chick-fil-A where they are playing gospel music …. Ever
lol your sarcasm is lost on some
MY FAV REST IS Mais al Ghanim and they shut on sundays and WHAT? and i am a muslim. My religion asks to respect and thats what i do
That is a horrible franchise … Only chicken fingers!
Yup! Chicken fingers and a sandwich made of chicken fingers, B.O.R.I.N.G.
Can they stop wasting our time and bring an IN-N-OUT burger joint already?
And I am not interested in that’we have so many burger places in Kuwait’ nonsense. I need those animal fries in my life.
Sorry I am late into the game, what happened to Olive Garden and Red Lobster?
Red Lobster changed its location in Avenues to merge with Olive Garden, Now they will sit side by side in the same first floor area in Grand Avenues
Huge fan of Raising Cane’s, it’s my fried chicken of choice in the U.S but I can’t see the franchise competing with kfc in kuwait.
Money laundry level 9999
XD LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Damn right
I have had Rasing Cane’s and I am a huge fan. Not as big as I am of Chic-fil-a, but I can see me eating there regularly.
ED, Caliburger in Miral is about as close as you’re going to find in Kuwait at the moment. Their ‘Wild Style’ fries really do remind me of home.
LOL come comments here are funny, and yeah I personally will miss the old place of olive graden if that was the case
They are only THE BEST fried chicken in the northeast region! wait till you try it.. BOX COMBO
weird location. its a 5 bucks fast food joint, and the neighbouring restaurants are somewhat fancy. should be in the food court !!!
Raising Cane’s could be a competitive brand in the middle-east. There is high demand for chicken and if they position themselves well they could potentially take a piece of the pie.
However, it will need to evolve it’s business model to serve a variety of product offerings. At the moment, only serving chicken finger strips will not ensure it’s longevity. They will need to compete with two types of models; QSR style and Fast Causal. They will be able to gain greater shares from both segments.
At the moment it’s a dull, boring and mainly caters to the redneck southern US. Nothing geared towards mainstream consumers or palettes. Doubt this will change upon its debut.
Their first location will be to the left of Cheesecake Factory below the Bagel concept in Grand Aves across from Casper and Gummy-bears.
Good luck raising long-term debt….A well executed Nando’s or Boston Market would have been a better call.
Raising Canes is a Louisiana based Chicken Finger company. I’ve had their meals, beat is the Cane Sauce. It’s a good company with great food
