The second mezzanine floor at Salhiya Complex is getting a makeover. The floor which has the Maki Restaurant is getting the ceiling height raised and a lot of clothing stores were closed down and instead restaurants will be opening up in their place.

That’s a dying mall. Maybe restaurants will do better there.
Now that The Avenues has really upscale stores, Salhiya is passez.
Salhiya is not a mall. Its an office complex that got its prestige from the business men that worked there. The place soon evolved into a ‘prestige mall’ as luxury brands started opening below to cater for the business men and women who worked in the upper floors. True that some of the businesses who had offices there now have their own highrise buildings, but that only opened up space for newer businesses who need offices. I remember as a kid going there to my father office… miss those days!

True azeez salhia complex by the name ..not a dying mall instead for me it is still the most prestigious mall in kuwait I noticed major changes are in upper floor ..OLD is GOLD as they say, however other malls have opened salhia stays unbeatable !
