It is a terrible coffee house!!! Have no idea what the hype is all abt.. Tried in Montreal last summer I literally had one sip of my coffee and straight to the garbage.. Not to mention the lack of hygiene & the gloomy ambiance… When asked many Canadians why you guys are crazy abt it.. They said it is everywhere and it is cheap but all agreed that it is not the best coffee house around but the most affordable one!

+1 Shitties coffee in the world, tasteless donuts, horrible sandwiches, and worst thing in the universe are those shitty Tim Bits. But us Canadians love it for nostalgic reasons. Its really an institution!

I have tried them several times in Canada and they are good. Not expensive / over priced. Everything ok abt their cafes!

just love THI, great coffee & sandwiches. like it so much I bought
1000 shares of the common stock during the IPO..

Nothing in the Avenues is reasonably priced. iHop is reasonably priced in the US, but in Kuwait it’s like some snobby french restaurant. People want to go to these places in Kuwait only because of the name and the fact that they have come from western countries, not mainly because they love coffee or pancakes. Even obscure names are gaining wide reputation in the Gulf countries especially Kuwait, as people would dump any amounts of cash to feel like they are in the US. Sell a bucket of cowdung with an American flag and it will appear on Superbrands Middle East!

Try to be more reasonable my friend just say I didn’t like it but not the worst coffee house. We are Canadians are in love with Tim Horons so please don’t generalize. Thanks

Starbucks aficionados: Timmy is tasteless and bad

Timmy aficionados: Starbucks sucks and is over priced

Take your side, love which ever. I personally am a Timmy guy.

Can I have a double double large plz 🙂

I remember the multi-grain bagels as being pretty damn good. It was taken over by Wendy’s so it’s no longer Canadian, that why you usually find a Wendy’s and TH side by side in the States.

I do recall though that Tim Horton’s is a place where a lot of the unfortunate homeless people tended to mill around in the big cities, probably because it was the cheapest coffee around, and the place was usually run down or bare bones.

Second cup was usually bright and well kept and never saw homeless people there.

Only Timmy’s USA is franchised to Wendy’s. Timmy’s Canada is still Canadian, and its the much larger company, and its the owner of the international franchises other than USA.

The place is named after a drunken hockey player who killed himself because he was driving with double the legal limit of blood alcohol. True story.

hehehe this is the best coffee in the world. but i would prefer it in Marina Mall since the main customers will be xpatss..

+1 Adel – Yes, no generalizing.
And to ppl who say shittiest to ‘food’ – dont like it, say u dont like it – leave it at that.

Timmy’s was shit its just practical hit the drive through on your way to whatever you’re doing get a bagel with cream cheese and a tea or coffee. All these idiots feeling this nostalgia are just happy to see something familiar that reminds them of home and better times.

How many J’s did all the Canadians here smoke outside their local Tim hortons lol

THIS IS GREAT NEWS! My Fiance and I are super excited! Its like a little peice of home has come here to KWT

This place is basically McDonalds with coffee that Canadians like to pretend is some magic wonderland, it’s stupid

Apparel Group UAE have the regional rights for it not Al Shaya.

Myself, I just had it over the weekend in Dubai and it was fantastic. It’s slowly becoming Dubai’s new favorite coffee shop and the fact that its everywhere really seems to help as well.

You all should try their turkey sandwhich, french vanilla, and world famous apple fritter.
