Marzouq has just posted a review of his experience at Atlantis in Dubai. In summary he doesn’t think the hotel is currently ready to handle a large amount of visitors, its also over priced and the quality of the rooms wasn’t up to par. The fact that you can hear through walls gives the impression the hotel was put together on a tight budget with all the money going towards the entertainment. [Link]

i heard they also had a problem with the water boilers not being able to handle the load and cutting hot water to hundreds of guests.
They should just make like the real Atlantis and sink this bitch down the gulf.
Hi, I just came back from Atlantis Hotel yesterday. I was there for 4 nights for Eid and all I can say is that it was absolutely perfect. The Hotel is just incredible, the service was outstanding, every single meter I walk there is someone greeting me asking for something I need. the rooms are very nice, with just a press of a button you light a green light outside your door and room service will be there, you press another button, a red light lights up and noone will disturb you. The hotel lobby, swimming pools, restaurants, are just 1st class, there are 10 restaurants to choose, from a steak house, sushi, to french… there is a huge aqua-park which was amazing, the swimming pools are beautiful with a shade to each chez long, there are club cars that can transport you from place to place. And trust me, I won’t finish if I continue, Ive been in all sorts of hotels everywhere and this is just in another world. I mean, come on, just go there, you won’t regret it….
I heard they’re opening one 3 times bigger in Kuwait….

i just came from dubai , didnt like the atlantis ,the best place in dubai now is the down town where they are building now dubai tower and many other hotels, its just an amazing area!

More like 2011 .. thats what my tarrot card reader told me .. then again she said the same thing about 2000. Technically she was wrong but then again she wasnt coz I got married in 2000 and MY WORLD as I knew it did COME TO AN END !!! LoL :-o)
Don’t go to Atantis Palm yet! I was shown to a room (supposedly imperial suites) that had not been cleaned. Later, I was given a different room and checked in. However my luggage went missing and did not turn up until 8 hours after I tried to check in. On leaving my luggage was lost again and we were told just to take a look in the various luggage rooms, we found our own luggage and left with it. The warm water did not work, noone in guest services answered the phone. I had to come down and leave the kids in the robes to follow up on luggage as we only had swimsuits. I had the wrong billing, car not valeted just left with keys.
Anyway, I could actually continue more, there were no rubber things in the waterpark as it was eid and they were all used up. At least it makes for good stories at parties!
