Sweet!
can u run adobecs software on the macbook?
How can I check my powerbook’s temperature?
Mark because you doing simple task and 56 is very hot for cpu do near nothing!
people where complaining because MacBooks under long stress period will be nice frying pan.
Mark, apple has been continuously making updates to the MacBook and MacBook pro without interrupting their sales. They even discontinued a MacBook Pro that was being sold only weeks after it was launched. Also apparent were the discoloration problems.
So you might actually be lucky and get one that has had the heating and discoloration problems fixed. Otherwise, you should be experiencing the majority of the heat comping from under the F key..
I have a last generation 1.67G 17″ powerbook and a 2.16G 15″ intel mac book pro. The powerbook’s temperature rarely goes over 40 C, and the macbook pro is always over 55 C.
All I run on the macbook pro is a browser and mail, while I do all sorts of stuff like photoshop image manipulation on the 17″ one. I like Apple, but this time they have got it wrong…
