New Race Track Opening

The Kuwait Historical, Vintage & Classic Car Museum just finished building a race track and will be officially introducing it to the public on October 10th. The race track was built across the street from City Center Shuwaikh in the empty desert space right next to the car museum.

Once the track is open it will be available to anyone who wants to race on it. The track will be used for a variety of different activities including racing, karting, drifting, car dealership test drives and even a 4X4 experience.

They still haven’t finalized how much it will cost to use the track but I’ve been told it will be a minimal fee. For more pictures check out their Instagram account [Here]

Mark,

If iam correct todays morning show in 99.7 they have read your last 3 posts without giving you any credit. πŸ™‚

Someone is going to die on this track, absolutely no safety features; at least a tire wall between the sectors. even karting needs more safety provisions.

I just noticed this place from outside while driving to work today.
this place looks so small.. yesterday when i read the post, i was expecting something like a F1 track.
This place is so small that its only good enough for go karting or drifting (probably).

“Something like a F1 Track”?
Do you really expect this place to have so much space for a F1?
What you can expect here is cars and bikes flying right into Al Dabbous!

A step in the right direction Kuwait. Been waiting ages to see a track like this come up.

Why do people expect F1 Style tracks anyways ?

Because F1 tracks are:

1. Built for cars that can go really fast.
2. Have more robust safety requirements (from the F1 body).
3. Bring in a lot of money – imagine a F1 race in Kuwait! Or a Moto GP!
