A friend of mine spotted this falcon outside his window in Salmiya. He lives right next to Seef Hospital so I’m guessing it’s their falcon and they use it to keep the pigeons away but that’s just my guess.

This is definitely not a Falcon. It’s Kestrel.
Its very healthy looking and definitely looks tamed, very up close picture tells me the bird is used to close encounters.
Yewesif: I don’t know much about birds but i just googled kestrel and this looks more like a falcon than a kestrel

Pass by friday market if u can you’ll find dozens of Kestrel birds. It’s smaller than a usual Falcon and looks different. 😛
we call it in Kuwait “Shiryasa” 😛

I train falcons…
This is a peregrine falcon, among the fastest in the world. Judging from the color of its head it seems to be a female (the fastest).
A trained one can easyly easyly go for 1,000 to 2000 KD.
Dont even try to catch it, cuz if it breaks 1 feather on its wing, its price drops by like 80% cuz its speed drops too and preformance. The feathers are delicate and trained people know how to carefully catch it.
