Caramel is a romantic comedy based on the daily lives of four Lebanese women. The movie premiered during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and since then has been sold to over 30 countries. It premiers on August 14th in France and I might be there on business so I am going to try my best to watch it. For now the trailer is on YouTube and it’s a really long trailer like 5 minutes long. There is also a website for the movie and a lot more info on Wikipedia. It looks like its going to be a good one.

SUMWHERE IN LEEEEEEBANON
Interesting. The movie is directed by Nadine Labaki; she is famous for directing most Nancy Ajram’s video clips and I think they were really good. Unfortunately, the only face that I have recognized so far is Adel Karam (The Policeman). I think I saw him in a Lebanese comedy skit but I cannot figure if it was “Mone3a Fe Lebanon” or “La Yomal”. Either way, I’m watching it.
La Yomal and Abu Riyad
