A citizen was digging a hole in Jaber Al-Ahmad area when he ended up finding a buried tank! Makes me wonder how much remnants of the Gulf War is still out there… Just last year we found a rusted bullet belt filled with ammunition on the roof of my building while changing the location of my WiMD receiver. Update: According to a few readers, the instagram source is incorrect and the tank was actually found while excavating an oil field in the desert.

One explanation: people who got their hands on weapons, after the liberation war, chose to hide (or bury) the weapons instead of handing them back to the government. Thus the new gun collection law.
This isn’t the correct story Mark. This tank was found when excavating in an oilfield;you can see KOC employees in the picture. As well as oilfield infrastructures in the background.
Ditto,
It’s clearly within KOC’s fence
actually it was in oilfield in north kuwait. hint the workers clothes and helmets and the background of the photo.
Yes, I can also confirm this is inside KOC’s field area in North Kuwait and not a residential area like Jaber Al Ahmed.
It was in ALManaqeesh not jabber alahmed. and its known in Kuwait that the guy who won the tender to clean Kuwait after the invasion buried everything instead of following the right procedures that’s why the uranium level in Kuwait is so high !
So Im assuming KOC didn’t just randomly decide to dig there lol.
But this makes me worry about undetected mines…
the title sound like click bait…guy digs hole finds tank..seesh..
Click bait? It’s a blog not reddit.
would that tank has nuclear radiation back from 1990 ?
lets wait the next couple of years and see how may kids with 3 legs get born
