A French friend of my dad visited him in Riyadh last summer, and my dad took him around town, including “Tahlia Street” which has really nice big sidewalks for walking, etc. Naturally, there are no women there, only guys walking hand in hand. Mydads friend was like, “Oh, my God, Saudi Arabia are a lot more liberal than I thought! I didn’t know they had a gay district!”
