K5 has an interesting post about this cool little store he found called Nawader Al Kuwait. The place has a huge collection of vintage Arabic vinyl records and also vintage radios and record players. The place also has other random items, personally I am interested in the painting of the musicians above so I might pass by tonight to check the place out. You can see more pictures and information about the place on K5’s blog [Here]

They don’t sell books in Area 10
hahaah the picture is of an old kuwaiti artist called 7amad snan…he’s a sheikh now!!!….enjoy
I like the wall paper/design/paint/decor that is appearing behind the band in the picture…
I wonder why that kind of design diminished now?
Oooh and 7amad snan has taught my husband to read Quran when he was a child ๐
huh? culture? blasphemy!
wow i feel like a celebrity all of a sudden thanks Mark hope you enjoyed your time there ๐
there is a similar shop in shamiya mall up but its always closed and it has a contact number if u wanted anything
where in shamiya? and this shop isn’t in area 10 its in salmiya and i dont think it sells books.
I went there yesterday to check it, its amazing! you must see there collection of coca cola and pepsi unopened bottles and gadgets! Too bad they’re not on sale!
i think thats whats special about it, the fact that hes not selling nearly anything besides the vinyls its not like we have a musem to go to.. so i guess this is something to keep us untill they open the new museum..
