New Petrol Machines

new petrol machines

Mishary from SOMEcontrast took pictures of new petrol machines now installed at the Oula gas stations. They look pretty cool but not to sure if the petrol machine actually accepts cards like in the US or we still need to drive up to the window and pay. Now where are the gas station mini markets I heard we would get after the privatization? [Link]

apparently they all requested permission from govt for mini-marts, however they were denied, something to do with the co-op society.

I hope they introduce the keychain thingy that you touch to the machine and your card is charged automatically. I used to use it on Mobil stations in the US.

It was really neat!

I have trouble finding Ultra (i.e. Green) stations in Kuwait – which is strange.

And what’s with the lack of mini marts? Are you guys serious about the govt turning them down? In this day and age when rocketing high prices from coops are hurting people, isnt more competition via mini marts, supermarkets etc a good thing??

The idea of coops (dominated by corrupt boards) is so socialistic in this day and age, hence all the trouble we are having with lack of goods or high prices.

There should be 24/7 mini marts in every gas station in Kuwait.

The rest of the free world has something called free trade and have laws against monopolies etc, here were not even allowed to use the internet to call abroad because the government’s ministry wants to be the only one to profit… welcome to the third world!!

i noticed those but the conns is that when u park at the edge of the yellow line u cant c the price clearly tho i almost always know the price b4 filling other then that it looks nice .
p.s.: noticed a number near the names like premium91 any idea whts that ?
