I recently found out the price of Ozempic in the US and it’s over 8x more expensive than Kuwait which is crazy. So I decided to check the prices around the world and Kuwait seems to be pretty good when compared to places like the US or the UAE. Oddly, I think Kuwait is the only country where you don’t need a prescription for it.

Here is a list comparing the price of Ozempic in Kuwait vs other countries:

Dear author, please delete this post🙏 This information may have a negative impact on people who are forced to use this medicine for their health. Prices for it may increase, demand for it may increase and, as a result of all this, it may disappear from sale altogether. This has happened in many other countries.

Prices won’t increase, this is the retail price, pharmacies can’t screw around, they can’t just decide oh today I’m going to sell it for 400KD. This isn’t an iPhone.

Yep, it’s $650/month with a “savings card” for similar weight loss drug Wegovy in the U.S. What’s the Wegovy price in Kuwait?

Because it’s insulin. A vile of insulin is 200 USD, in Canada it’s 20. Americans cross the border and buy it all the time.
