Think what you want to think Hosam, I neither work for them nor get paid to advertise on their behalf. I am just a satisfied customer, and who wouldn’t be at those speeds?

Actually it’s Fiber, I got their Nitro Package a few years back and stayed with it since then. I just renew, I don’t upgrade or anything.

that’s just for students. i called them up and it seems they do have some sort of offers where they either give free months or you enter draws etc.. but I honestly couldn’t understand anything the woman was telling me over the phone. if anyone can let me know what they’re offering i’ll update the post. what i did understand is the prices are the same as they are on the website. so no discounted prices just extra benefits on top.

one of my collegue called them, the lady there said its entirely free and asked him to just bring civil ID and MoC clearence certificate to Infoconnect booth…… and the offer is ONLY for 2 MB…

right now am confused

its called elmnet. thrree lanes in ur browser would always have advertisment bars when you are browsing. so that way ur internet will be free.

Qualitynet have introduced new prices, which are almost 70% discounted to their original prices. These tariffs starts from 3 Mbps for KD. 36 per year only (i.e. KD. 3 a month, which originally was KD. 104 per year). Further, the speeds are not “up to”, its dedicated/ committed bandwidth for each subscriber.

Moreover, the Free 2 Mbps Internet package (Elm Net/ Student Package) also includes a Wi-Fi ADSL / Broadband router for Free till Saturday, 02nd Feb. 2013.

Qualitynet is actually offering “Free” 2mb Internet through Elmnet! its a new service in Kuwait and sponsored by Zain, its all over the media and im surprised u haven’t blogged about it!

Well according to the qualitynet woman I spoke to its only for students and you’re limited to just web browsing. According to the elmnet website it’s free because they will display ads in return.

2Mbps costs around KD3 a month which isn’t much and you basically can browse and use other Internet services as well.

+ it doesn’t work on phones/tabblets, not even macs. Just on windows pc and using their ad-bloated browser program.

Woah that 200GB cap offer is quite nice actually, you can get 10 mbps for the price of 6 and I doubt I actually use 200GB monthly

I know right, whats bugging me is the 50 kd router + installation fees, since im a student/work part time, thats ruined my plans for 10mb :p

i use qualitynet, but i know some people that use fastelco and they’re happy with the service.

don’t understand the fast speeds that are on the fastelco advert as very few can get above 8mbs, and max that ministry will let them offer is usually 8.

qualitynet service is usually good if there are issues, but my friend says that fastelco has good service.

they all block sites and the list is different from isp to isp, though i know some sites i use on qualitynet are blocked by fastelco, so if you have any sites you need then ask fastelco if it’s blocked or get on one of their machines and check. I used to use gulfnet and their service was not so good.

I was paying for a faster line speed but my line was dropping regularly at 6mbs (not qualitynet problem , it’s the line quality after contractors dug thru the lines in our area a few years back), dropped it to 5 and line still dropped and settled for 4mbs, which is plenty, and i do get a good 4mbs speed and do give it some stick with what i download.
So basically make sure they check your line before paying for something that your line can’t handle.

Quality net…the biggest CHEAT of 2013….for all subscribers….who went to info connect and inquire about offers …they said NO OFFERS this time and make you recharge (1.5 mb i payed 59KD) then next day they start giving 5mb for KD 60????? SERIOUSLY…do all the people who got cheated the first 3 day of info connect know that this is quality net strategy to cheat them?????

where are the business ethics?????
