I found this radio station this morning by mistake. How long has this been around? It’s a US military station and unlike 96.9 it doesn’t have the annoying English 101 courses.

this channel has been on a while now.. But everytime I tune into it all I hear is news.
thats what attracted me to the channel. If i am listening to music its from my ipod but if i am listening to the radio than its news and documentaries.

96.9 is VOA (Voice of America), it is NOT a military station (its also NOT called channel when talking about radio).
101.5 is AFN and it is a American military station.

Too bad not everyone can get and own the AFN box! We get a billion music channels.. So good to be a contractor!
Longhorn, the billion TV channels of AFN are much more of a reason to be nice to a contractor! Radio is very much dead (except in a car, where the AFN box wouldn’t work anyway).

Hahaha… there are only about 15 actual tv channels….. all the radio stations are like sirius/xm radio

iphone app WunderRadio
and my iphone is setup as a bluetooth source on my stereo. I play a station from my iphone and it will stream it onto my car stereo via bluetooth

i have the (sirius) in my jeep ,,but don’t have any idea about it ,, going to search and read about it !
@Mark, That would make sense if we had proper internet connections on our iPhones like the rest of the world (where they get free 1 year internet connection when buying the iphone, at least thats how it is here in the UK).
3azeez, not sure what you mean. i am actually doing this right now with my internet connection on my iphone and the music doesn’t cut off or anything, streams perfectly.
