The other day I posted a video of kites being flown in the Kuwaiti desert. According to a reader the kites all belong to Al-Farsi Kites Team who also have the largest kite in the world. They have an official website and a flickr group with a lot of pictures including my favorites the Winnie Poo like bear and the squid like creatures. Here are the links:

its good to see people have these kind of hobbies
i used to fly with them for a short while .. but there interest is only in .. kites that would make the sky look better if u know what i mean …what i like to fly is powerkites

Is this the same team that flies kites off of Fahaheel on Fridays? I always see a beautiful array of colors in the sky, and wonder if they are selling them or just flying them!
