The international sushi chain Benihana is going to be opening soon at the Avenues. I tried it once in Thailand and liked it a lot so I’m curious to see how it turns out here.

Disasterous location
Dumb franchise, dumb location.
i saw it yesterday and delibrated whether or not to post about it>>> then decided against not
you see the location is all wrong>>> why would you get an asian restaurant, possibly with open cooking area, sandwiched in the corner between two clothing stores? of all the places to open up in the avenues… this is the place they chose? now the Custo and the other one will stink!!!!
great cant wait!
I’ve tried it in London very nice place and great food, but avenues I guess the rest have a good point of view.
I agree on the location. On another note, for a while it looked like All Saints was opening two doors down from Benihana. I was at avenues yesterday and the revealed store was completely different. Diva or something. I dont know must have been my imagination. 🙁
seriously enough with the restaurants, someone please open something original
yummmmmyyyy
Oh joy… another sushi joint. Because really Kuwait just doesn’t have enough
Anyway, Benihana is known more for their teppanyaki… and good luck with the odor!
Did someone mention All Saints? That would be cool!
Wait a minute… can you imagine the Islamic fundies objecting to a place called All SAINTS?!
Hahaha… bring it on!
Yep location sucks … but it will do just fine.
I study in Milwaukee, WI .. and believe it or not I was the one who advised the ownership here to open a franchise in Kuwait .. Happy they finally listened 🙂
No one goes to Benihana for sushi. People go there for the teppenyaki and entertainment. The chefs make the restaurant. But really, in the middle of a mall?? C’mon :/
cool place but its kinda wierd that its in the middle of upscale clothing stores especially since the tepenyaki (which they are famous for) creates a lot of smoke and smell.
Who’s the franchisee? If it was al shaya he would have forced it down our throats and put in the best possible location.
they have it in Lebanon as well…it’s the best sushi place there hope it will taste the same!
waiting
Up to now, what are your top places for Sushi there?
in Amman at Meridian, really good.
Poor mark… You were looking forward to it opening
how ironic.
