Last night at the prestigious ICSC Awards that was held at Burj Khalifa in Dubai, our local creation B+F Open Flame Kitchen won the Gold Award for “Best New Retail Concept”. I wouldn’t say I’m too surprised about this since OFK is really that good. [Link]

Very cool! Good for him.
WOW congratulations! Now they must conquer both Dubai and London 😀
I can just see B+F getting a prime location in Dubai mall with outdoors seating facing the fountain. It would rock! And if cilantro can open in Piccadilly so can B+F!
B+F rocks,, love the burger boutique and slider station but don’t really fancy OFK
I was not be a big fan of OFK before but thats because i was ordering burgers. This is what you need to order:
Appetizer: coca cola braised short ribs (it’s boneless and very tender)
Main Course: Pizza Funghi Compana (i think thats how it’s spelt. Best pizza in the world. THE WORLD)
Side: Smoked fries
Dessert: Chocolate Brownie Pudding
Those coke ribs are way too sweet though
It will be last chance haha
Try the pizza! Funghi Compana, it comes with a white sauce instead of the regular tomato sauce. Kicks Ass. I don’t order anything else anymore other than that.
A certain someone also told me that the lobster at OFK was the best (in the world) 🙂 I have to try this place.
Btw, are those fries sweet potatoes or regular potatoes?
regular
A cousin of mine who has traveled all over the world, and tried some of the best restaurants around, told me that the best burger he has ever tried is at Open Flame Kitchen. Mashallah.
I’ve traveled all over and tried a lot of different restaurants and I can safely say I’ve never had a burger as good as a great steak.
+1
Kudos to the dedication and hardwork put in…take a bow!!!
Sorry guys. I ate at B+F several times and I do not think that besides the ambiance and music there is anything special about the food. As a matter of fact I think some of it leaves a lot of room for improvement. I could think of at least one or two places in the region that deserve the award more…
