Google Maps recently added driving directions to Google Maps in Kuwait meaning you could now tell Google where you are and where you want to go to and it will calculate the route similar to navigation devices. You can try it by visiting Google Maps [Here]

Yeah I think Android users are going to benefit the most out of this. Supposedly the walking directions also work but I haven’t been able to get it to.
I tried it yesterday and its not exactly perfect yet. it sorta gave me the long way home
Thanks for the info. It also works in Dubai. Didn’t work last week so maybe its a GCC-wide release.
I agree with QABAQ, the GPS in the car provides a different (faster) route from home to work.

Worked on my Android. Did anyone manage to get turn-by-turn voice assisted directions to work on Android? The navigation app still says ‘unavailable in your area’ (using it from Kuwait)

i’ve been using it for a week it’s perfect , and today i used it to find the direction to syrian embassy .
but there is no saving option , you can save your route .
