I’m a huge Entertainment City fan although a lot of people think it’s pretty crap. It’s not. It just need’s a bit of TLC which for some odd reason it’s not getting. Anyway this Ramadan they’re reducing the ticket price from KD3.5 per person down to just KD1. This mean’s spending a day at Entertainment City will be cheaper than visiting the Kuwait Towers. A clean up, upgrade and a rebranding (yes I said it!) are in order
I think they should just dig up pictures of the park in the 80s and try to replicate it. It would be an 80’s themed park and they’ll have Hungry Bunny and Pizza Italia restaurants open there. Also wherever you are in the park you’d hear 80’s music and their arcade would have pinball machines and PacMan, Space Invaders, Missile Command etc..
That’s what they need to do.

Who wants to spend a day in the sun during Ramadan? Even if it wasn’t Ramadan I’d still not go ‘cos EC sucks big time.It reminds me of the derelict theme park in COD4.
I have some nice memories of going to EC during Ramadan bc it opened usually after iftar and till very late just befor suhoor. It’s closed during the day in Ramadan…just like the ministries hahahaha
what? my dad took my nephew there about 2 months ago but it was closed?? didn’t know it still operates
i went there this sunday and it was closed. nobody was there. like they closed the gates!
Great price. Unfortunately, that means it will be full of 3ageds who will probably ruin the experience.

I think you hit it on the head, its not a bad park, bot Disneyland either, but just needs some work.
1 KD is only entry fee…in the end you will spend up paying KD5-6 depending on the rides you wish to go for….it’s all about how to invite crowd…Majority of the rides charge KD2
majority of the rides are free. there are only a handful of rides you pay for, maybe only 2, one of roller coasters and that river rapid.
I heard the log ride is closed which sucks since that ride was the most fun.
I have to say I was always fairly impressed by the place – mwe loved the log flume and the roller coasters and the car ride. Can’t remember the big rollercoaster (cyclone??) – but that has to be the best this side of Europe: https://youtu.be/jPUs_z88D3Y
