Yesterday I passed by a new concept store which my friend set up called i love souk. It turned out to be a pretty cool store that sells a bunch of random funky items like design books, vintage clothing, accessories, artwork and more. They’re also authorized dealers for Lomography and American Apparel.
They’re located outside Al Corniche Club to the left of Athletes Foot right on top of the Al Sabah Art & Design gallery. Their main ilovesouk.com website is still not up but there is a small section with pictures about the store on the Al Sabah Collection website which you can check [Here]

The Selection of books there, although quite small are great and very different to what is already available in the market. perfect gifts for artsy friends. The Fish eye camera/lenses are also very fun!

@teach i especially love lomos because of the cross processing, the best place to develop is boushehri in salmiya
i wish we had one of those boutique film developing shops; where everything is done manually and give developing and processing classes
I used to do night shift in a photograph developping factory many years ago when I was a student- incredible what you saw. Those were the days when there were manual splicers and two guys to roll the photos down and check them with a marker. Once in a while they would hit stop and shout ‘good one!’………………….
American Apparel? Beeline to Corniche!!
just got back from i love souk, and got me a supersampler to add to my collection for 18KD not bad at all, considering it costs $50 (14.5 KD) although they need to work on their lomo camera and film collection, can’t wait for them to get the lc-a and seagull
Hello, since there is already the availability of these Toy Cameras here in Q8. I am planning to put up a Kuwait – base Lomo group in Flickr, i just want to know how many out there use Lomo cameras here in Kuwait. Maybe we have a chance to share our ideas and photos about this stuff. Anyone interested please email me at
