Spotted this place on the Gulf Road opposite KFC near Safir Hotel. The reason I think Fuddruckers is opening up there because the color scheme is similar to the new Fuddruckers that’s opening soon in Lebanon (check picture below). If it is the new Fuddruckers it looks pretty big.
Note: The building to the right of what I think is the new Fudds is going to be a new Lebanese Restaurant. Below is a picture of how it currently looks like.

Frankom is referncing the ‘rat meat’ epidemic that was highlighted in the weekend edition of most local newspapers. A study has found that upto 5% of the meat in a typical burger comes from rat. Although not harmful to human health, the inclusion of rat meat has lead to many burgers being labelled ‘unreal’
That sounds like total BS. More like tabloid news and not proper newspaper news.
The new Fuddruckers will probably open at the beggining of the last quarter of 2011. The burger patties are made from beef chuck, not ground beef so it is guaranteed that the patties are 100% beef. There are no additives or extenders. The beef chuck they use is Certified Angus Beef (CAB). This new location will have its butchery and bakery section and will carry new menu items.
So, still….the world’s greatest hamburger and more!

You’re not the first one to think that it sure looks like a church or convent….we even call it Fuddruckers Staff Retreat House!
