I don’t know, I’ve only been to their seef branch.
Yes this is alBeda’a branch
yeah just found out, looks wayy cooler than the seef one
although it does look cool, i dont know how it would work in kuwait. families and shabab (guys) sitting on the same bench eating food in kuwait is not something easy to achieve without trouble..
I don’t get it…Do they usually sit on the floor?
Hi Mark,
I think it is a bit out of our cultural context and might not work well. A proof of this is Wagamam!
I checked the link, which stated that Wasabi is also being done by the same consultant for the benefit of Sultan Group. I thought that Wasabi is owned by Almousharji!? Can you help me here?
Guys what are you talking about, whoever doesn’t want to sit on the bench doesn’t have to. What’s the big deal? They can just sit on the other tables. These benches are probably used by groups of 6 or 8.
And these benches look smaller in the picture, in reality you can sit comfortably away from another group. I’ve been there once and it was great, if this was located in Marina, some of you might be right, but the location for it is great.
It is in al Bida’a infront of the Movenpick Hotel and one of my favorite resraurants. The food is healthy (now there is a new concept in Kuwait), the long tables are indeed used by larger groups. There are enough smaller tables to sit on if you dont want to share. I really like thr contempory decor. Great place!

Isn’t that just the Beda’a store?
