My bakala finally got the new Lulu ice cream and I decided I would try it since I heard a lot of good things about it. My favorite ice cream is by far KDD Silver so thats obviously its main competition for me. Now that I tried the Chocolate Lulu its clear Silver is the better of the two. The Lulu ice cream although not bad was just too boring for me. It doesn’t have caramel but instead has nougat which some people might prefer since its less sweeter but not me.
Silver is still my favorite and I don’t think I will be trying Lulu again since there is no reason to. I don’t know why they created a new line for cones, they should have just called the Lulu Bronze or Plastic, something lame like that. The Lulu costs 250 fils while Silver costs 200.

silver is awesome and so is gold but i think they ruined gold now bc the last one i tasted it was more white and bland. way less creamy than it used to be.
thahab was the best cones ice cream.. I remember during the 80’s always getting one as a child one the way/back from chalet.. It was the highlight of the journey. 🙂

I just tried the new Lulu. The transition to cone format is a bit messy because the nougat comes off in large chunks. It was impossible to eat like a cone and I just ended up biting it. It ended very quickly.
I miss those tiny bite size Lulus they used to sell for 50 fils.. =(

I thought the new lulu cone had caramel so I was looking forward for it! The only reason behind me eating silver is because of the caramel streaks in it. I love caramel!

I’m not a fan of KDD cones. I a fan sandwitch and what we call barrid bo gla6at. But LULU is tasty. Mark, I wonder if you have ever talked about KDD’s collection of juice 🙂
KDD rocks.
Try KDD’s Burgan ice cream. Its has little boy in disdasha and a little girl in a dara3a drawn on it. Try the one with chocolate on the inside and the outside (the wrapping is tan colored). I find it to be superior to Silver. TRY IT!
