New and improved road signs

They’ve activated the new clock road sign near McDonalds on the Gulf Road and it turns out they’re using a new screen for it. Unlike the first generation signs in which they used two smaller screens, the new sign uses one larger higher resolution screen which is much better. No more squinting trying to read the messages, they should be much larger and clearer from now on.

I can’t believe some above people are actually dismissing this. The big bright screens is how it should have been in the beginning. The small ones are barely readable (for me and other people with poor vision) and can only be read when when I’m 10 to 15 meters away from it, giving me less then 2 seconds to read it before I pass it. Kudos to the government for listening to complaints and correcting it’s mistakes.

Very nice clock. They wanted to make sure you always new what time it was because its so important in kuwait that everything here works like clockwork.

Just got from the U.S., Austin, TX. to be exact, and I noticed they have the same traffic cameras they use on Gulf Road. They are just about at every major intersection from downtown to the suburbs!

BIG CLOCK. This way the driver’s will know the time and that will help them to find out they are late for there appointment,so they have to SPEED UP.
Big Clock+Speed up=more ticket’s.

very good idea as watches in Kuwait are very expensive so this is the only way to know the time.loooooooooool
