New cars for hidden speed cameras

A friend of mine shot the picture above yesterday of a Chevrolet Traverse with a speed camera in the back. Previously the ministry were using GMC Envoys and tiny Suzuki Jimny’s with cameras in the back to catch speeders but now we’ve got to keep any eye out for one more kind of car parked on the side of the road.

Not necessarily placed 50m before the camera car!! The 50 i think has one car parked there and I didn’t see any warning triangle close to it

Nowadays i’m just cautious with any and every car parked at the side of the road because you never know the government could even decide to get a Buggati with a speed camera in it! LMAO

Supposing I get caught by a speed camera say today at 8 pm how long does it take for the fine to come up on the ministry website or do I get any warning from the ministry on my mobile or anything. I think i might have a gone a little fast today šŸ™

At the risk of being controversial, what about just doing the speed limit, not tailgating and driving defensively? Perhaps there would be less stress and less injuries and deaths on the roads.

well, speed is not a problem. Careless drivers are the problem.
If you are against high speed just read about th e AutoBahn, you might change your mind.

My point is that speed is a problem. The faster you go decreases your reaction time and increases the chance of an accident occuring. Wreckless drivers + fast speeds = accidents.

Do some research, speed doesn’t cause accident, people with poor driving skills and people not paying attention cause accents.
If everyone on a highway is driving 120km/h and ur doing 70. youre the most dangerous driver out there.
and correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure i see more accidents from women using there cellphones completely oblivious to whats going around them. they are responsible for the overwhelming majority of rear-end collisions.

LoooooooL gr8 job Mark for showing is this post, and now we begining to realize that every Chevrolet Trevor in Kuwait is a hidden camera….okk guys and by guys we mean *Kuwait Law* stop putting cars as hidden cameras its embarrsing as it is =/

Also I wish people wouldn’t slow their asses down below 120 when they see the dang cameras. Most of the cameras, on the roadways where the max limit is 120, don’t flash unless if you go over 140! Jeezzzzzzzzzz!

There’s always a sign on the side of these cars that says ‘ Ministry of Interior’, but I guess if you’re driving fast past them you would not notice that.

people need to worry less about these cameras and keep an eye on their speedometer to make sure they are within the limits!

What i hate most when driving:

Left lane: 180 kmph. . .
middle lane: 80 kmph. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
right lane: 40 kmph…………………………

me as well!

There are many stupid drivers who drive below the minimum speed and causing traffic jams.

Also some overtake without accelerating! Or overtake for no reason or even drive on the left lanes while the right lanes are empty!

It is clear that the majority of road users are unaware of the traffic laws.
