Old KPTC double decker buses

Found these two pictures of the old KPTC double decker busses. Turns out they were built by the Northern Counties Motor and Engineering Company in England. The picture above is of the buses before they were shipped to Kuwait while the picture below is of the buses unpainted being taken for a test drive to make sure they’re working fine.

There are three of them that have been parked in the same place for as long as I can remember. They’re across City Center Kuwait City if you’re on Jahra Road (80). They’re even visible on google earth.

They should have double decker buses for the city this way there will be fewer buses crowding a congested area

What? We had double decker buses in Kuwait? I never knew that!!!

Why on earth did they disappear?

Why is it that we are always amazed at good things that happened in the past and now cease to exit? bs nerja3 qaree!

I didn’t notice a DeLorean amongst all the scrap cars, although I wasn’t looking for one so would be quite easy to miss in there.
