Verity Cridland who I posted about before here has been uploading some more old photos of Kuwait from the early 60’s. One of the pictures that grabbed my attention was the one above of a car flipped over which I found interesting since it could very well be the oldest picture of a car accident in Kuwait. i think i just got me a new Poster
maybe you should take better look at her gallery, because she has many pictures of old Kuwaiti roundabouts. where, according to the photographer, they used to show crashed cars as a warning of what speed can do. she also said that many cars were crashing in the roundabouts because the drivers were distracted looking at the display.
Didn’t anyone realize the difference between the old accidents and the modern ones?
the old cars was much more tougher than the modern ones as you can see the car was just upside down in modern days the car would be totally destroyed
aha ! Now I know why drivers in Kuwait are good at flipping cars, they’ve got more than 40 years of experience !
