Back in November I posted about how Quiznos is coming back to Kuwait and that their first branch was going to open up in January. January came and went and I had completely forgotten to check if it had opened or not. Tonight though while walking in Salmiya I spotted their new branch but it still hadn’t opened yet. But it looks like its going to be opening up pretty soon.
Update: Forgot to mention the location is right behind Olympia Mall

its kinda an interesting location … you can enter from both sides of the building (2 diff streets) … but not sure if the two are actually connected
I didn’t notice that, I’m going to be passing by that area again, might as well check out the back streets and Olympia as well since I haven’t been there yet.

Quiznos first local branch was in Baitak tower which subsequently shut down. The food and service were certainly not up to the lowly standard set by the American locations.. So I’m not surprised they didn’t last more than a year. The only + (which many ppl found to be a – ) is that they use locally baked break from the Kuwait Flour Mills (ma6a7in)
Yeah I used to pass by that branch for lunch. Food was decent but the worst part was the fact the place had really horrible ventilation which resulted in the whole place smelling of smoke and you as well if you spent more than 5 minutes inside.
*thumbs up* cant get enough of sandwiches- will b on the look out for its opening
Great franchise, hope they do it justice over here in Kuwait. I used to love their subs when I was in Toronto. Ohhh I can’t wait 🙂
