Tidbit Du Jour just posted about a new milkshake store that just opened in Al Kout Mall called Sblended. I hadn’t heard of this British chain before but looking at their website it seems they will blend any of your favorite chocolates into a milkshake. Sounds delicious. [Link]

At first I thought the post was making fun of yet another misspelled shop name and was I wrong. A rather clever way to mix splendid with blended. Cute.

Shame it’s not a Shakeaway. They were the ‘original’ chain. Apparently, Shakeaway have also agreed franchise rights for the GCC with a Dubai-based company though, so there is hope.
No matter how good a place it, it is always compared to something else and dismissed as an imitation. Maybe people should try out this place before jumping to conclusions and calling it a “shame.”
