PinkGirlQ8 spotted a Shake Shack coming soon hoarding outside Fanar Mall in Salmiya. I thought the location was a bit odd but I guess they want to drive traffic away from the Johnny Rockets branch that’s just a few shops away.
I also found out the Harvey Nichols launch date at Avenues Phase III is now confirmed to be around end of September early October. This will be their first store in Kuwait.

Does that mean Tiffany & Co, Romulus and Gucci are all now dearly departed from Fanar Mall?!
Fanar is rapidly going down market if its tenant mix begins to change to include the likes of Shake Shag and all.

Also, The Texas Roadhouse Restaurant in Dubai told me that they are opening around that timeframe also, so possibly the mall will open for a soft opening then? Or do they not do a soft opening in Kuwait. All I told them, was AlShaya will have to keep his man in the port to guard that case of meat every step of the way in order to serve a quality product in this country. When you walk into this restaurant in Dubai, they have the most beautiful case of meat in the entrance.

Mashalla they open in Kuwait 2 branches & in Saudi Arabia none! they should open in THEIR COUNTRY SAUDI ARABIA!

I’d rather they opened an Eat-aly somewhere in Kuwait than to have Shake Shacks popping up all over the place as though they were some kind of neighborhood bakala chain.
