Heard about this service ages ago but never bothered to find out how to subscribe to it. The MOI SMS service when signed up to it will notify you when you commit traffic violations. The sign up fee is KD1 and then it’s 40fils per SMS notification. Here are the sign up instructions:
To subscribe, send the following SMS:

Well, there is no income tax. So I guess they need to find ways to make some money to cover the costs.
It would be more attractive if they removed the signup fee tho…. I dont mind paying 40fils per notification.
It would be great if we had the option to sign up for a specific SMS – ie traffic violations only. I personally dont need the rest. Not sure if that option is avaialble…
Pay to be constantly spammed your violations and other random crap by the MOI lol. No thanks.
There is no need to notify me that my passport will expire in 2022!!
At least reminde me 6 months before, not 10 years before expiration date.
I peg you do not notify me each year, otherwise i will pay 40 x 10= 400 fils multiply it by 1000 inteligent subscriber like me, would give you 400 kd !! real Waw.
