Nibaq told me he was going to watch Star Wars III at the movies on Tuesday, so I decided to check out the KNCC website for showtimes. Turns out there is a showing on Tuesday at 12:00AM at Marina Mall so I just bought 2 tickets and reserved our seats online. It was the first time I tried using their website and it was also the first time I bought tickets online. Its a very easy feature to use and I am surprised we have this technology in Kuwait.
1) First you need to sign up on their website, a very easy and quick process.
2) Then you look for the movie you want to watch.
3) Once you find a movie you want you then have to find a showtime that would suit you.
4) The next step is to reserve your seats. This is the best option, they show you a map of the theater and then you can choose where you want to sit. Very cool.
5) You pay for your ticket online using Knet, Credit Card, M-Net or a Smart Card.
6) You receive an email and SMS message confirming your order.
Very easy and very simple. I now might watch more movies because of this.

what shocks me is not the how up to date KNCC is with tech, OR that you and nibaq are going to go to the cinema is kuwait BUT that ur planning on going at midnight! isnt that past ur bedtime 😛
By the way, at the end, skywalker becomes darth vader (spoiler) 😛
Isn’t the first show supposed to be Wednesday night at midnight since it comes out on Thursday the 19th?

so thats Tuesday right? i mean at 11:59PM on Tuesday I will be at Marina Mall about to enter the theater. Or is it Wednesday 11:59PM I am at Marina Mall about to enter cinema? OR, its it tomorrow, Monday at 11:59PM I am at marina mall about to go in and watch the movie?
The movie has a global release. It’s coming out all over the world except Japan and Korea on Thursday May 19th. Hence the first show should be Wednesday night at 11.59pm. It can’t be Tuesday night, unless this is a special show like in Dubai they are doing a charity show. You pay more if you want to be the first to see Star Wars and the money goes to charity. But this doesn’t appear to be like that.
Someone in Kuwait messed up … they are supposed to release it wednesday night.
hmm well my ticket says tuesday… will double check with them tomorrow.
I’m going to see it on the 19th. A bunch of us Star Wars geeks are going to go on the first showing in Lebanon. Fun.
I won’t go the first day, i hate queueing.
