Sultan Center Hawalli

I finally got to pass by the new Sultan Center branch in Hawalli. First I have to say the location is crap since its located in traffic hell Hawalli, also if there is anything going on at the stadium next door don’t even think about passing by this branch since the stadium and Sultan Center share the same parking lot.

On the other hand the supermarket itself has really wide aisles and everything is nicely spread out. They seem to have more varied products compared to the main Salmiya branch but thats probably because they can fit more stuff. I think I’m going to do all my shopping at this branch from now on. Here is a link with a map and more info. [Link]

Not more than Sharq, but it’s way better than Salmiya. Best times to go are late at night, when Hawalli is empty.

If this is the one near the Mughal Mahal, the place is a mess when it comes to parking. Also Sultan Centre is now one of the most expensive joints for grocery shopping!

I just would like to ignore the fact that they opened a store in Hawally considering the fact that their clientele is more of the upwardly mobile expats and nationals; (Please dont take me to be a snob here) and Hawally and other adjoining areas cannot actually boast of such a target clientele. I’d like to see how the Sultans will increase their footfall sales considering the fact that TSC Salmiya is quite close by.

I think the location and products are all perfect! Sultan is doing an amazing job! I hope y’all stop complaining about Sultan! Its the best place to shop for groceries in Kuwait.
Peace!

i stopped shopping at sul6an all together we passed by yesterday since it was on our way to pick up alphonso mango and the nice indian salesman we miss so much asked us why he doesnt see us there anymore.. i felt guilty saying telling him we dont come here anymore :/

for those of us who drive throuh the 30 everyday.. its a pretty ideal stop along the way to pick up some groceries and something to cook for dinner!
Also, its exactly opposite Sheab sea side (where u see all the upscale apartments) so for last minute groceries.. it works. Friday or Saturday is my day to shop at the salmiya or sharq outlets.. hawali is for everything else that i forgot to buy or stuff i run out of..

I usually shop at Sultan Salmiya as my house is very close, Hawalli is a much more convenient place to shop, wide aisles, and very comfortable shopping, the parking was not a problem at all, I went there twice around 8 oclock it took 10 minutes from Salmiya,

P.S: Sultan Center is not expensive with the local offer, the prices are the same as the market, it’s only expensive with all the imported products, amazing range!!
