Taco Bell opening next week

Taco Bell is opening up their first branch in Kuwait next Thursday at The Avenues. It’s about time! The list of places still left to open keeps shrinking… Wendy’s, A&W, Five Guys, Jack in the Box, White Castle, Arby’s, Cheese Cake Factory and In-N-Out.

will refried beans tast as good being ‘lard free’?

i had heard they never really dropped lard as an ingredient – can you imagine refried beans with enhanced palm oil? EEEEYYYY

I love Taco Bell & I have been waiting for such opening for a long time. I just hope they offer their original menu as in the states and not a modified menu as the one in Dubai.

ooooooooooooohhhhhhhh! YUM!! Can’t wait! Taco Bell has been the one thing I have missed the most from the States…wow

How stupid for someone to go with Taco Bell when it is failing everywhere else and not go for fresher and healthier alternatives such as Chipotle. Now that is a killer.

Finally!! Rumor has it, it’s opening in place of Kababji which closed in the Phase II food court.

I had Amigo’s during the week and regretted it instantly!

Yeaaaaaaaaaah Taco Hell :PppPPpp finally it will open in Kuwait. akthaaar ma63am tesamamt minna fe USA. But still i like it 🙂

The problem with most of these franchise stores is that I get so excited only to be let down as it just isn’t the same as home. Love love Mexican but was also disappointed in Dubai with taco bell! Speaking of home…. Why doesn’t KFC serve gravy???

Chipotle is way better but gotta take what we can get right! $1.35 in the U.S……. 500fils here for a been burrito! Buy a pkg of beans, boil them, buy a pkg of tortillas and heat them your oven and it is just the same! I can do all that and more at my house and I will charge less! Real Mexicans here in Kuwait can make a killing here with all the food crazy people here!

Food replaces alcohol, night clubs, libraries, greenery and anything else the common man would look forward to.

We have Olive Garden, Red Lobster and a dozen other AMERICAN restaurants opening here so that Kuwaitis can brag to their American friends how great Kuwait is because we have the same fast food joints, snacks and groceries which you find in the overpriced Sultan Center. Doritos, Cheetos, Mountain Dew, Orville & Act II popcorn and hundreds of other food items are found here. So what? Americans don’t give a damn. And we’ll keep dying and crying to impress them with all this news.

Even though I love TacoB, I think it’s ridiculous that everything else is sacrificed just for FOOD!

I hoped they would have opened in a residential area too where its much easier to grab on the go
I would not go to the avenues just to get taco bell, and if im in the avenues id rather have good food. Places like taco bell are meant for a quick grab and go and late nights

you are waiting for jack in the box to open in kuwait? seriously? i can tell you never tried it, the worst restaurant ever, by far.

About five guys: two businessmen from the gulf already talked to the owner, but he refused to go any further than Canada, to maintain the same quality people use to getting from their restaurants.

holy cow. thank you SOOOOO much for posting this. you just made me the happiest girl in kuwait for the time being! my hubby and i have been saying all along that kuwait needs not another burger joint but..a taco bell! i just wish id seen this a day earlier; i totally wouldve been at the opening BUT i am going to the avenues today anyway so i will get my fix then 😀

PS. I have information from a reliable source that kuwait is indeed planning on making alcohol legal in the very very near future! taco bell, quiznos, and booze! hoorayy!!
