Whispers of Sin

Not sure if this is a real movie or just a spoof but it was done locally. To me it looks like a spoof because of the way the music and sound effects are over exaggerated and because the English subtitles read funny with the music. [YouTube]

Thanks 3abood

I don’t think it’s a spoof. But if it wasn’t for the director of photography, then it would be a pretty shitty movie. The story is so typical, and frankly it doesn’t make me want to know what happens next. Though the fact that were able to shoot from an angle for a change instead of hiding behind a chair and peeking through effortlessly like KuwaitI series (though some shots did suck at some point, but it was an improvement), impressed me. But that’s about it.

I truly hope this movie is a spoof. ENOUGH with the cheating/deceiving/sex-oriented movies and soap operas… everything is so predictable they should try new idea’s and dramas that are not categorized as above why not (Romantic comedies/Sci-Fi/True stories/action to a certain extent/dramas/Kuwaiti history its very rich)

Kuwaiti TV show shallownes + a relentless impersonation of Don LaFontaine = Guinness world record for cliches/second

OMG Mbarak!! @_@ lol.. since when do you act?!

haha I never knew u acted ;P

anyways.. I think it looks pretty cool especially the cinematic photography.

Now! Drama better than ever! 2 hours of misery with no breaks! In a cinema near you! (Warning: bring your own box of tissues)

I wouldn’t watch it even if it was for free. Typical piece of crap we’ve seen on TV for over 15 years.

This is real mark, and the producer doesnt want people talking negatively about it , so watch out lol

I had a little incident with him because of that after commenting on the trailer on youtube and I wrote a post about what he said to me afterwards.

This is a short film by a Kuwaiti Director called Abdulrahman Al Khulaifi. He is in his early 20’s and participated in Festivals and won for this film an award and very good ratings.

Lets not be harsh on these young directors guys, they try to work with the available resources available to them and not like the rest of the World where there is a fund for locals making movies and cash is available to them.
