Is Wonder Woman not being released in Kuwait? IMDB states that it should release today.

During Ramadan the movie theaters in Kuwait decide to release big movies during Eid so if its coming out its gonna come out end of Ramadan.

Seems odd, but ok.
Movie Guy,
It’s always been like that. The big releases are kept on hold till EID.
i was all excited to go watch it tomorrow… Friday plans ruined 🙁
What was the list of banned movies for, Wonder Woman is not on it; that I notice?
Wonder Woman may be banned in Lebanon as the leading actress Gal Gadot is an Israeli.
from what i’m aware it already got banned over there
The banning of Wonder Woman – because the lead is Israeli is one of the dumbest things I ever heard of; and honestly Lebanon was the last country I expected this from.
Do they ban all movies with Natalie Portman as well? You know she is also an Israeli citizen.
Not sure if the reason is that she is an Israeli citizen has a lot to do with it. It maybe one of the reasons but not the only one.
I suspect that the real reason that it was banned was due to the story origins and all. She is supposed to be the Daughter of Zeus who is a Greek god and that bit might be the real issue over here.
Remember a few years back when Clash Of The Titans was banned for a similar reason or so. The same can be said for a game Injustice Gods Among Us The word gods caused a major issue over here. The name had to be changed before it was allowed to be sold here. Can’t seem to recall the new name for it but one gets the idea.
Her being an Israeli Citizen might be another factor but I doubt it since we have seen Thor and Thor 2 over here as well and that wasn’t banned. Surprisingly mind you since it had both Natalie Portman who is also an Israeli Citizen and all as well as Norse gods in it. But I guess that slipped past the Censor Board due to the explanation that the Norse just were using advanced science that to the simple humans seemed like magic and considered them to be gods and all.
Then again what do I know how the censor board works so take my words with a grain of salt.
