It’s a joke based on the fact that kuwait seems to want to deport expats for random reasons (like illegal barbecuing) so don’t get your panties in a bunch.
That was a rumour or proposal that was sensationalized by the media. Kuwait isnt a single entity with unified officials who share the same views. Government officials and MPs have different views when it comes to expats. Don’t judge an entire nation by the views of some municipal officials.

Thanks, it is good to know there are very few people share the same view. I have lived in Kuwait for more than 20+ years now. My family has struggled through the invasion too.
But I have to point out the obvious. Kuwait (I mean the government) has become increasingly hostile towards expats especially from India. In light of the recent diplomatic row regarding maids, the situation is only getting worse. Soon we will have to leave.

Shut up Ahmad…it’s a sense of humor which is acceptable considering the draconian laws kuwait puts on expat…it’s not just deportation but also Laws on driving license,hospital timings, visa laws banning visits for even families of certain nationalities!do you want me to mention more or are you going to accept your country has a seriously racist inhumane policy towards expats…kuwaits policies towards expat is one of the most racist in the whole world…

I think it’s more like the Arab expats for Kuwait. It would make so much more sense if it also featured or at least showed a face or two of Asian expats which make such a large population here.
Geez, no one is ever satisfied with anything. Mark was making a sarcastic joke which is his right considering it is HIS website, since when is everyone so sensitive? Then we have the people upset that the video doesn’t feature expats of non-Arab nationality, go make your own video then. What a bunch of Debbie Downers! My comment was based on the fact that Arab expats are able to integrate into mainstream (read upper) society here unlike a lot of asian expats. no doubt you will have plenty of examples of why this is not the case and i applaud you for already knowing people who are the exception. WELL DONE!!!!
