5 Dead, 50+ Injured in Bus Crash

Five people were killed and more than 50 others injured in a horrific crash in Kuwait yesterday, involving a bus carrying Bahraini pilgrims.

Thick fog blanketing most of the region was blamed for the incident which happened when the bus, carrying pilgrims from Bahrain to Karbala in Iraq, was apparently overtaken by a water tanker, leading it to crash into a truck carrying bricks. [Source]

No, it wasn’t the thick fog who didn’t adjust the speed to the driving conditions.

A terrible accident, hopefully it will remind people that you are not supposed to drive through fog like it isn’t there. It is dangerous enough through the perfectly clear air anyway.

Actually, the Bus Driver could of make a stop til the fog cleared, a few hours wouldn’t make a harm, however that cause to the injury and might be death of these people.

There should be a law, that indicates travelling transportation on road for businesses should not endanger the passengers by going on bad weather, or they will have to pay a large amount of ta3weeth for them if an accident accurd

RIP those Bahrainis

One of them was only 24

So sad, I hope they realize that airplane travel to Karbala is safer than by car

Maybe the couldn’t afford it, which is the case for most shia’s there.
