BF Goodrich MT KM2

Last week I ordered a lift kit for my FJ from Toytec Lifts. I’m planning to install a 3″ lift along with larger tires. So yesterday I went to get a set of tires but I couldn’t find any mud-terrain ones in the size I wanted. I checked Hankook, BF Goodrich, Maxxis and Goodyear. BFG actually were the most helpful, they told me they were getting some All-Terrain KO’s soon in the size I wanted but no plans on getting the mud-terrain KM2’s which I want. So now I am stuck with no idea what to do. I contacted Tirerack.com and they quoted me KD110 to ship 5 tires to Kuwait which isn’t too bad considering how heavy they are. But still, thats around KD22 extra per tire which I would rather not pay.

I’m now thinking maybe there is some small off-road shop in Kuwait that might carry BF Goodrich tires, does anyone know of any? Also does anyone by any chance know who the dealer in Bahrain is? I tried googling but didn’t find anything. Maybe I could drive to Bahrain to pick up the tires myself…

I really would never recommend mud terrians for Kuwait there noisy and could cause a lot in gas mileage that’s what I think since am here in the US I have bf’s with KO’ they are the best I say go with them I do have an fj with all the acces on it if u need any help just ask me had it for three years I knw each inch of it glad to help πŸ™‚

Just keep in mind that the Mud Terrains aren’t good on wet asphalt, I learned that the hard way! I’m purchasing the All Terrains for my Landcruiser soon!

If you want aggressive looking go for the Nittos! Terra Grapplers now those are really aggressive looking!

Kuwait 4X4 on HWY 40 I think right after 1st Ring going into Kuwait City on the right hand side. The owners name is Ahmad, 224-932-44. I haven’t been to his place in a a couple of years but he ca get you just about anything from the U.S. The other place the street behind Avenues, its pretty fancy lookin. They have modifid quads and ATV’s in there show room window.

BF Goodrich Tires Are Manufactured & Distributed by Michelin. So Try To Contact Michelin Dealer in Bahrain.

make sure you check the tire manufacture date if you buy them in Kuwait, its stamped on the tire. I think the 22kd is worth it to get us quality products, as sometimes our ME market is used to get rid of rejects.

FYI is correct, BFG tire dealer in Bahrain is Ebrahim K. Kanoo.

I just had my BFG tires inspected by them last week . There office number is +973 17252689. Alternatively, you can contact their inspector (a knowledgeable person) directly, his name is Taymour and his mobile numbers are: +973 39106529 or +974 5801568

Good luck

Hey thanks a lot. Just called them up they don’t have any tire in stock my size (285/75 R16). But, they said they could order them but takes around a month.

just stick with the AT.. the MT’s are BAD on the road they are noisy and bad traction on the wet road

Look at Good years or Chapparell they can be found on Canada Dry Street, only problem with these class of tires is your comfort level and noise level diminishes drastically.

My suggestion is to have insulation installed in your FJ.

hey mark … im restoring an old cherokee we have at home … just finished all the mechanical stuff … now im aiming for the look … i was planing to get it lifted and get some mud tires … how do u suggest i do that ? order the left kit online and have it installed for me or what exactly?

Old cherokee with a lift and large 33inch tires can look very cool. I would order everything from https://quadratec.com/

They have EVERYTHING you need for your jeep and shipping to Kuwait will cost your like KD100 for whatever you want.

But, check with the local Old Man Emu dealer, sometimes with the cost of shipping their prices turn out cheaper.

have you looked at Mickey Thompson .
I know that Rami off road ( Dubai ) carry them and he will ship to Kuwait .

depends, i had like a combination of a body lift and suspension lift plus a few extra parts, paid around $1400 i think. But you could a Old Man Emu 2.5″ lift for around half that.

Tires depends on what size, it will probably be around KD50 per tire.

Mohd: Shipping to Kuwait will cost at least 100kd so might as well order fromt he states. But, there are Michkey Thompsons in Kuwait, will give them a call and see what they have.

22KD extra per tire, not a big deal.
my advice go for it and order the tire you really want.
I paid 600$ to ship a Exhaust System.

Well , you are doing a 3″ lift , that will require a special size , you better off ordering from the states , you will get fresh tires as oppose to old stock if you are able to find any .

You buy me a super/turbo charger for my bday and I will get you you the lift kit/rims/tires along with an autographed pic of my car for sexxxmas LMAO πŸ˜€

50 per tire =/
i was doing some research and almost everything i found in kuwait was from 400 kd up , are we talking about the same thing ?
where can i go if i want to take a look at some tires?

400kd and up for a lift? Pass by OME, my FJ was going to cost me around KD380, should be similar for the Cherokee.

Tires pass by Al Mailem in canada dry, they have like 4 or 5 stores on that street. They carry Hankook and Goodyear. You could also pass by BFG which are the Michellin dealers.

alright … oh and i was talking about the tires when i said 400 … i think i have all the info i need now , thanks alot =)

Hi mark, I have the same Tyre BFG KM2 that i order it by Off Road Performance shop located in Shwikh behind Ramez Market

.. I agree, Mud Train would give you hard time in Kuwait.. the look is good.. but hitting the road will be tough…

have you try http://www.RcKuwait.com? they have tires, wheels and lift kits… they are recently open, I posted the entry for it last week… I’m satisfied with the group .. I mean after sales is just great.. If you you haven’t purchased the lift kit yet, then try to stop by today.. they are having things in Kuwait.. for example, I got my 6inch lift kit “Rough Country, which Mark didn’t like πŸ˜› ” for 655KD .. With one year warranty!! along with Mickey thompson tires and Dick cepek Wheels…

Good luck..

Bader: I am getting my lift installed at ORP, good guys, seems the whole FJ club gets their stuff installed there

Jasem: I got the new OME nitrocharger sport shocks with OME coils in the front and Toytec superflex in the rear. The shocks arrived yesterday waiting for the coils now. I called RC Kuwait, they don’t carry tires and are not interested in carrying tires. Owner told me he has 4 35″ tires in stock and he is getting another 4 in June or July.

I called the Mickey Thompson dealer in Canada Dry, they had 5 Baja ATZ’s in stock, at KD90 each. But I’m not interested in All terrains and for KD90 thats the price of the BFG KM2’s if I ordered them for the states. I had 33″ Mud terrains on my wrangler and didn’t have issues so 33″ on an FJ should be better. Only thing is its going to cost me 110kd to go with mud terrains, still considering if i should pay that much.

I already booked 5 BFG all terrtains at the dealer, they should be here any day now. If I decide not to pay more for the MT will get those at around KD67 a piece.

Just called a guy called Almaida at Hankook. He’s sadly not related to Tony Almaida from 24. Anyway he’s going to find out if they can get me the DynaPro MT’s (same ones i had on my wrangler) and how much it would cost to ship them.

135kd, 500 aussie bucks. Mate I dont know how core fitness is doing, but 99 bucks gets you 6 weeks of membership at any state or city within aussie regions at one of the world’s most recognized gyms, specifically FF (fitness first) or YMCA’s centres, you can look them up, they are world known. Fitness first even has platinum institutes at major cities, with 99 bucks getting you a 4 weeks membership. Gyms can range from anything as small as 200m2 to 2500m2 in size, the platinum even offers to drive you from and to the gym itself.

Each monthly membership comes with 3 free packages, they call them fitness packs, you can trade each pack for a nutrition plan, one on one classes, heck even 60 minute one on one discussions in the trainer’s offices. Trainers have to be certified from 3-4 bodies recognized world wide, and most are university graduates whether in nutritional sciences or physiotherapy. a one month membership with you, costing me 500 AUD, and giving me (was it 60minute per week) 4 hours per month, is just sad. But hey, I’ve heard kuwaities love to pay the full price, so why not?
