This might be because the GF2 sucks. The GF1 is far better than the GF2. The clumsy touch-screen for manual controls is a nightmare.
I’m a fan of the GF1, had one and just sold it to get the GX1. I wouldn’t say GF2 sucks. I don’t like it because it lacks buttons but I’m not the target for the GF2. GF2 is a better cam for someone looking for a point & shoot, it’s not scary to use.
I hope you’ll do a review of the GX1.
The hate against GF2 is more of a fashion statement, just like hating boy bands, Vamprire Diaries, or anything Apple.
The GF2 gives excellent photos, and the touch-to-focus is pretty handy too.
I replaced mine with an EP-2 merely because of the lack of in body image stabilization since I use a manual prime most of the time.
If you’re going to use lenses with iS, this is an awesome deal.
I gave mine to my wife, she’s happy with it.
So you guys are saying this $369 (to be precise) for a amateur-pro photog is a good deal? Because I am strongly considering. Too tired right now to read extensive dpreview review 🙂
