7-Eleven now… Eleven

Last year 7-Eleven opened their first location in Kuwait, but I passed by it recently and it looks like they’ve rebranded to just Eleven. I guess they either lost the franchise or were never official and so were forced to rename the place. Awkward.

It’s a horrible store. Dunno how they could con the public using the 7-11 logo. I asked the staff once and they told me that this store is a stand alone Kuwait product.

But if you see the logo you’d notice the number 7 depicting the trolley handle…isn’t it in someway still 7 -Eleven? Rebranding perhaps?

Seven eleven a bakala made by fat white people instead of fat Kuwaiti people, i don’t see what the fuss is about. Side note, did you know that you could upload your civil ID card into your phone?

7-Eleven UAE have the best microwave dinners, and the best thing is you don’t just have to cook them in the microwave, you can even cook them in a pot on the stove.

My friend, you are SO wrong. They are in many many more countries *officially* e.g. Norway, Philippines, Thailand etc. Kuwait is definitely not one of those though.

I love 7-11!

I think its in Thailand, when you buy any drink they give you a straw at the cashier. In the US they have Slurpy Machines for slush drinks like Cherry Coke.

I actually would like to see a Lawson’s open up in my neighborhood never mind a ‘7-Eleven’.
Safeway is another brand which got royally abused. I used to love Safeway near Kids R Us in Farwaniya but not the other cheap imitations of it which sprung up foll. its demise during the invasion.
